Aaron reaches another milestone and it's definitely worth documenting. I have been teaching him how to clap his hands for quite some time. His hands used to be closed and I kept trying to open them up for him so he could hear the sound his hands made. Aaron now claps his hands whenever he sees people clap, which is adorable. Love this new milestone and can't wait what he can do next.

Playdate at Jayden's
We were invited to Daphne and Jayden's place in Cupertino for a playdate. There were 7 babies including Aaron attended the playdate. Daphne, the host is so kind to provide us delicious Chinese food from Shanghai Dumplings. The play date is definitely fun and we took some really funny pictures of all the baby. I finally met Linh and Kaylee after talking to her on FB for 2-3 months. Playdates have become one of my favorite things to do within the mommy group. Hopefully we will be having more playdates in the future.

Play date with Hailey
We invited both Monica to come over for a mini play date. I made some pork ribs and salad for the mommies. Babies had broccoli and chicken for lunch. Hailey is such a good eater, she would eat anything on her tray. She doesn't even need a bib when eating solids. I can't believe how messy Aaron is compared to Hailey! Play date is always fun for mommies, but babies don't seem to know how to socialize yet. Hopefully they will become good friends for life later.

First haircut
Aaron finally got his haircut by daddy after 8+ months. He had never gotten a haircut since birth as we noticed his hair has gotten shorter and shorter. We finally figured that his hair gets shorter as his head grows. Daddy cut tiny little bit of his bangs and the side so he won't look as dirty/messy all the time. ;) Of course, mommy saved his first hair and will return to him later on.

First play date at home
Aaron had his very first play date at home. We invited Jeanie+Garett and she brought her friend Maisy+Sophie to our home. I made lasagna the night before and baked it today to soak up more sauce and flavor. We had so much fun together and time passed by so fast. It's so cool to see babies interact with each other and they all do similar things.
I love having people over and prepare food for them. It's nice to be able to finally make some friends in the Bay area, and it's even better that daddy is supportive of it. I am enjoying every moment with my gremlin.

Aaron's first CNY
Happy Chinese New Year! This is Aaron's first CNY and he got an awesome chinese outfit from Por Por and Kung Kung. The outfit is a little big besides the hat (perhaps his head is abnormally big?) but of course he still looks adorable. I like how he looks like a king with that funny little hat. In mommy's eyes, Aaron looks cute no matter what he wears. I love you, my prince.

Aunt Debbie visiting from HK
Aunt Debbie came visit Aaron for 2 weeks from Hong Kong. There have been numerous guests visiting Aaron since he was born. She brought 2 pairs of slippers for Aaron and helped bring the awesome Chinese outfit for Aaron. We are going to cook and eat some yummy food the next 2 weeks.
