This is our first official prenatal Dr's visit. Ultrasound was performed to check if mini b has a heartbeat and measure the size of growth. Everything checked out to be normal and healthy. The sonographer described mini b as a gummy bear at this stage as his/her hands and legs are not fully developed yet. We are thrilled to see our baby and can't wait till the next ultrasound.
After the ultrasound, I had my blood drawn. It took the nurses quite awhile to draw 10 tubes of blood from me as my veins are too tiny. They poked me everywhere and were so scared that I would pass out. Luckily, they got enough blood for all the screening. The blood test came back all normal except deficient in Vitamin D. The Dr prescribed me new prenatal vitamins and hopefully mini b will benefit from them.

Week 5 (10/27/2011)
We planned to go to HK for my birthday a few months ago before we learned the news about mini b. We stuck to our original plan to fly back to HK despite I am only 5 weeks pregnant. We would really love to break the big news to my parents in person. We waited to tell my parents at week 6 in HK and Sangil's parents shortly after to make up for a missing birthday card for Sangil's dad. I am glad that we went home and had a fabulous time with friends and family.
9/22/11
September 22, 2011 marks the beginning of mini b's life. We found out this exciting yet scary news on 10/24/2011. While incredibly excited, we are anxious because we live in Las Vegas, far away from our friends and family. Through this blog, we hope to bring you along this journey of meeting our first child.

black dresses
I created this vitural styling blog post by using Polyvore (www.polyvore.com). This is a fun tool to create your own fashion style and share it with your friends via social media tools, such as Blogger, Facebook, and Twitter. You can also create a clothing set using Polyvore's templates shown below which mimics magazine pages.

First blog after the across-the-country-move
Apparently I have not been updating my blog for a long while. I should update everyone that I recently moved to Las Vegas! My husband and I both got job offers in LV and decided to move across the country. Right after we decided to move, we started packing, selling/giving out furniture, cleaning, arranging movers, and selling the house. Even though it was only 3 months ago, everything already seemed like a blur. I only remember how stressful we were about the move. I am glad that we are finally settled in our new home in Las Vegas (with boxes sitting in the office) and I look forward to the fall so I can go explore the great outdoors.
